Emerson Krause graduated from CIA, Culinary Institute of America, in Hyde Park, New York. His externship was at the Michelin Star restaurant Gramercy Tavern in Manhattan where he was offered a position starting the evening after his graduation but he returned to his home in Florida to own Banana River Cafe.
