Martial Arts Training – United Martial Arts Center

United Martial Arts Center, known as UMAC, is a martial arts school in Fort Myers serving the Lee County area since 1989. Located at 2500 Crystal Drive, the facility is described as the biggest and most modern martial arts training facility in Florida, and it concentrates on three Korean disciplines: Ko Am Mu Do, Tae Kwon Do, and Hap Ki Do, together with martial arts weapons training.

The school’s programs are structured for a range of ages and goals. Offerings include Children’s Martial Arts for ages four and up, an After-School Program with direct school pickup and homework time, Summer and School Break Camps featuring field trips and guest speakers, Adult Martial Arts and Fitness, Family Training, a Tiny Eagle Program, and dedicated Hap Ki Do instruction. Across these programs, UMAC emphasizes five core values: self-discipline, respect, confidence, inclusion, and leadership.

Instruction is led by Grand Master Noah Geun Guak, a 9th Degree Grand Master and the school’s founder, who has been featured on the cover of the international magazine Tae Kwon Do Times three times and is described as holding the highest martial arts rank in the tri-county area. Master David Torres, a U.S. military veteran, is credited with 15 years of personal instruction to more than 1,000 students. The school highlights its individualized approach, noting work with neurodiverse students and those who have struggled in other settings, and states that it rejects shortcuts and mass belt promotions.

Serving Fort Myers and the surrounding Lee County communities, UMAC presents itself as a destination for families seeking structured martial arts and fitness training in Southwest Florida. Free trial classes are offered to prospective students who want to experience a session before enrolling. The school can be reached by phone at (239) 433-2299 for scheduling, program questions, and enrollment, with multilingual support available in English, Korean, and Spanish.
