Old Wheel Restorations, formerly known as Pistorius Collectible Autos, is a classic car sales and restoration shop in Odessa, in the northwest Tampa area of Florida. Operated by Brando and Joanne Pistorius, the business specializes in full-service restoration of vehicles spanning 1900 through the pre-computer era, covering mechanical, body, electrical, interior, and exterior work. The shop operates under Odessa 2 LLC, a Florida corporation established in 2006.
Projects range from small jobs to complete restorations and include carburetor refurbishment, tune-ups, body and paint work, and detailed mechanical restoration. The shop describes achieving show-quality detailing of the exterior, interior, and engine compartment, and it test drives each vehicle before returning it to its owner. The owners have earned recognition in the collector community. They restored a 1929 Peerless Model Six-81 sedan, one of only eight known to exist, which won a Chairman’s Award at the Lake Mirror Concours d’Elegance. A 1950 Riley restoration debuted at the Gasparilla Concours d’Elegance after a two-year project. The shop’s work has been featured in national publications including AACA Speedster and Old Cars Weekly.
