Cigar Event Organizer – The Great Smoke
Held annually at the South Florida Fairgrounds, The Great Smoke is a premier cigar event staged in South Florida. The 2027 edition, themed “Arabian Nights, A Legendary Journey Beneath the Stars,” takes place in March 2027 across four days of programming, featuring lantern-lit pathways, live performances, premium cigars, gourmet food, and craft cocktails from leading manufacturers in the cigar industry.
The event offers both in-person and virtual attendance. Live attendees receive a custom Arabian Nights swag box containing event cigars upon entry, while virtual attendees receive packages in advance and can watch live broadcasts hosted by Michael Herklots, with field reporting from Kim Keeny and Paul DeGrocco. All food experiences are curated by Potions in Motion, which executes the Red Meat Lover’s Club Dinner and the elevated TGS Brunch.
Featured manufacturers for 2027 include Steve Saka of Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust, Nick Melillo of Foundation Cigars, and Juan Cancel of Protocol Cigars, each presenting exclusive releases. Brands that have participated in previous editions span the premium cigar market, including Arturo Fuente, Davidoff, Drew Estate, My Father, Oliva, Rocky Patel, and Tatuaje, among many others.
The Red Meat Lover’s Club Dinner returns as a separately ticketed experience built around an extensive selection of premium cuts and appetizers. The event describes itself as an unfolding story combining craft, culture, and extraordinary experiences for attendees.
